The refillable cartridges supplied are fitted a auto reset chips, which when empty, removing and re-filling, will reset the cartridge chip back to full each time. This means that you do not need to throw the cartridges away after they are empty. The cartridges can be re-filled, either by you or by us from bottles of dye sublimation ink and re-used many times.
